Feb 9th, 2008 Russian Front: Operation Uranus Paintball Scenario

Welcome to the meat grinder of the Russian Front. Winter has set in freezing the muddy roads of Russia, allowing more efficient troop movements. Join the Soviet winter counter-offensive, one of the bloodiest Soviet offensives of World War II. Elements of the German Army are within striking distance of Moscow. The Russians mount an operation to push the Germans back from Moscow and ultimately help trap their forces in Stalingrad.

In the spring of 1940 German forces struck against Norway and Denmark in April; invading the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg in May; and late in the same month broke through a hilly, wooded district in France. The German columns sliced through to the English Channel, cutting off British and French troops in northern France and Belgium.
